Problem Note 59915: Using SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Microsoft SQL Server with temp tables results in an "...Invalid Object Name..." error
You might encounter an error using SAS/ACCESS Interface to Microsoft SQL Server when the following conditions are met:
- You use the DBMSTEMP=YES LIBNAME option.
- You use the DBTYPE= data set option in your SAS code.
Under these conditions, an error similar to the following can occur:
ERROR: CLI describe error: [SAS][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Invalid
object name 'CHFF6E810C6AE88102D151C_003'. : [SAS][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL
Server]Statement(s) could not be prepared.
NOTE: The DATA step has been abnormally terminated.
